Children's Lessons

SwimSchool
The Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) National Plan for Teaching Swimming (NPTS) offers a structured approach to swimming lessons with steady progress from a level 1 non-swimmer through to a level 12 class to become an accomplished swimmer who may wish to join a swimming club or compete in galas.
As your child progresses through the levels, a badge and certificate are available to mark their achievement, in addition each level has a corresponding coloured swimming hat which is included in the price of the lessons, as your child progresses they will accumulate awards and hats to illustrate their success.
You are never too young to enjoy swimming, babies as young as 3 months can join SwimSchool to gain water confidence and basic skills with their parent or guardian.
For your convenience and to ensure continuous development, SwimSchool runs for between 42 and 48 weeks per year. The terms are all of equal length to ensure optimum progress and teaching time.
It is our policy to ensure lessons are enjoyable, interesting and above all offer the highest standards of water confidence, skills and techniques in a safe environment. All Leisure Connection sites also have a SwimSchool Co-ordinator, who will be happy to assist in your enquiry and enrolment onto the appropriate level of the programme.
